Capricorn Youth Conference - Message Dated 25 Nov 2021
During his speech on the 30 October 2021, his majesty King Matabola has mentioned a concern about matters surrounding our youth. That at very young age, children are exposed to various substances that end up destroying their lives.  The king has sent a strong message that our youth should atleast have exposure conference twice (2) a year to deliberate on matters that they are succumbed to as a collective.

The members that are interested to attend the conference, should contact the youth coordinator, Mr Pitse Mathekgane on the following number/s: 072 789 5366 or alternatively go to our contact page to get a number.

These particular conference will bring hope to those who feel directionless in life. It will educate our youth about their basic responsibilities and most importantly, respect.

His majesty has further stressed that the business cooperatives should surface and government to provide adequate funding mechanism.  We appeal to anyone who has the full knowhow on any principle of life, to friend with the kingdom in order to benefit the land.

INAUGURATIONS - Dated 09 July 2021

THIS IS A SPECIAL ANSWER TO EVERYONE WHO HAS HAD THIS QUESTION ABOUT THE OFFICIAL INAUGURATION OF  THE KING.

The local authority was found in 1938 after the official purchasing of the land, Capricorn district and the extent.  Overtime, the Matabola Local Authority has had its inauguration ceremony to put succeeding kings in power until recently.  Why can't the Paramount King be inaugurated by the premier of the province or the sitting president of the republic? Here are the reasons why.

The land belongs to the Kingdom of Matabola, hence the premier or the president can not swear-in his majesty during the inauguration ceremony.  If that should happen, then the whole history of the kingdom will have to be re-written because that will mean that the government will be the highest authority over his majesty on his land.  The inauguration of the kings in Matabola Kingdom  is done through their internal ceremony where the government official may be invited to witness the ceremony, not to partake in the inauguration itself.  Well that should be clear so far to everybody.

Remember if the kingdom deem it necessary to be independent like any other kingdom, Lesotho and Swaziland, it may do so without restrictions or interference.  Take a close example on our resident churches, the predecessor appoints the successor without any  government interventions and that's how the local authority lineages has been operating. Lat but not least, Coghsta is a government sector that has taken refuge on the land of Matabola Kingdom in order to provide services to the residents of the kingdom.  In the event of Matabola Local Authority, these sector may not directly engage with the traditional entities without the consultation from the kingdom.  If anyone opposes this kingdom, channels and systems are open to everyone to bring prove of any authority that possesses a title deed superior to the one of Matabola Local Authority.

Now it's time to tell the neighbors, they are here. The Matabola Kingdom is here to stay and forever. Those who believe, believe. Now everybody can see where the headquarter of Capricorn is! At Persie 200LS. Halala Bahula ba moshate halalaaaaaaaa!!!

Kingdom

Burial conflicts - Dated 29 June 2021

The Matabola Local Authority wants to appeal to all citizens of the land, Capricorn district and Limpopo at large that whoever that was affected by this unprecedented street laws of paying to bury your loved ones on the soil of Matabola Kingdom, to please contact the land registry office under our 'contact us' panel to officially lodge a valid complain. All evidence are required to be submitted, and in the case of no receipt, a witness may be required.  Please rest assured that the office of the king is working tirelessly around this matter with the aid of professional bodies such as Nkusi Development Association and other primary stakeholders.  All matters are progressively in good hands and through our consolidation departments, there are good developments.  The king is again appealing that the residents should not grow weary of reporting and exposing misconducts.  To touch on one of the previously reported matters, the matter of the late Mr Ezekiel Meso of Fairlie has been escalated to the High Court for final handling and we are happy to report that the perpetrators are being held accountable for all wrongdoings. Again do not first pay the burial fee and after you contact the office, rather contact the office before paying any fee because chances that you are not going to pay any fee are high.  Lastly the kingdom requests that all matters should reach the local authority's office on or before Friday the 16th July 2021. Modimo a boloke sechaba sa rena.

The  huntress of grief - Dated 25 June 2021

The Matabola Local Authority has been saddened by the information that has recently reached its offices from Moletjie Monyoaneng.  When people are in deep sorrow, grieving for their loved ones and lamenting their misfortunes; some see the opportunity to gain from death.  Couple of community members reached our offices that the family of Matlamela, particularly Mrs Rose Matlamela is implicated in this act.  Her together with her team, are in possesion of the burial site's entrance keys, which gives them authority over the community members.  She charges corpses between R3000 and R6000 rands as a burial initiation fee for those that do not honor her throne.  Desperate family members that are living on less than R10 a day must do fundraising to settle the initiation fee before they can bury their loved ones.  Some even end up applying for loans at the banks to settle the initiation fee decided by her and her team.  As much as she is aware of the consequences thereof, she does not provide a proof of payment; hence she just tell the vulnerable residents that they are free to bury.

We are therefore appealing to the community that this act of evilness must be reported to Matabola Local Authority, Human Rights Commision or local police offices as soon as it happens.  No one is obliged to take out any penny for them to bury their loved ones on the soil of Matabola Kingdom.  In days of grief and sorry, people should set aside their differences and bury their loved ones with peace and dignity.  This ruthlessness has primed the local authority to take certain steps against the member.  And this shall therefore be taken to our resident radio stations to broadcast a warning signal to those that practices this evilness at their places.  The Matabola Local Authority has got sufficient evidence about this matter and it is not apologetic by any means thereof.  These underground moles shall be exposed and be known to the community for their evilness.

Notice 01 of 2021

THE PARAMOUNT KING dated 10 June 2021

To anyone entering Limpopo from wherever port or border, be advised that the resident kingdom is the Kingdom of Matabola.

Notification Senior Traditional Leaders (Magoshi) Dated 21 May 2021

Please find our new page on the Dashboard named 'Magoshi' to be knowledgeable of who are the Capricorn's Super 27.  Those are the only, the only areas that should have senior traditional leaders.  Processes are underway to merge, centralize and decentralize them where necessary.

There will still be notifications about the other districts as well that fall under Limpopo province, the land of Matabola Local Authority.  Please be dearly advised that the kingdom is not limited only to Capricorn district, however; it reign through the entire Limpopo province. By Order of MLA.

This message is urgent Dated 10 May 2021
All Senior Traditional Leaders (Dikgoshi) of Limpopo Province are hereby required to treat the following message as urgent.

Background

At the dawn of democracy, our democratic government saw a need to expropriation of land in order to redress the wrongs committed by the apartheid government.  The democratic government therefore whilst still processing land ownership, issued the senior traditional leaders with an Interim Protection Act 31 of 1996 to take care of the informal lands.  This act was to grand land control measures over to the senior traditional leaders for a period of 12 (twelve) calendar months only and could be renewed to keep it current.

This program was a clear reminder to the senior traditional leaders that the land ownership process is underway and that once the owner of the land is made known (by issuing of title deed) the authority as a caretaker of the land could be revoked. Obviously this came with a certain degree of benefits to the senior traditional leaders, like monthly allowances, vehicle subsidies and offices and many more allowances that came up with the responsibilities.

Now, after his Majesty King K.A. Matabola was issued with the title deed of the land, the protection act collapsed because the land ownership process was accomplished.  This move came up with certain disadvantages towards the senior traditional leaders inside the province. Matabola Local Authority stopped all the benefits that were given to the senior traditional leaders inside the province as all budget must go through his signature.

Overview

The local authority is now fully operational and functional in all aspects and is calling upon the senior traditional leaders of this province to come fourth and make a re-application for recognition to the local authority in order to receive the benefits again.  The Matabola Kingdom has made a provision to open the application window for the period of 6 (six) calendar months to allow all senior traditional leaders to make the re-application for recognition.  People to take note that Coghsta is a government service that is operating on the soil of Matabola Local Authority.  Please do not insist that you have been recognised by Coghsta.  All traditional and land affairs in this province are the issues of the local authority.

After successful application, the local authority will issue the applicant with an appointment letter that is not renewable and the Land Operational Instructions that will serve as a guideline to the use of land.  It is therefore highly adviceable to all senior traditional leader to endure on this journey to have yourself registered.

Conclusion

In conclusion, the local authority is the highest structure of the province followed by the office of the premier. The local authority has not planned to exclude anyone from this process and is looking forward to good outcomes. Our province, our people. Bahula Ba Moshate!! Modimo a boloke Kgoshikgolo le sechaba sa gagwe.

Local Authority is the nerve center of the province dated 01 May 2021

Letter from CDM

The above letter was an acknowledgement from the provincial principal municipality, the Capricorn District Municipality that they want collaboration between the local authority and the provincial municipalities. Communications with various stakeholders and our local municipalities has been archived and anticipated in a good sense.  To those that are still unsure about the Matabola Local Authority, it is time to tell the neighbors that Matabola has arrived.

Moletjie Tribal Council

Members of Moletjie community to officially be informed that; the Moletjie Tribal Council or Tribal Authority is not recognized by the Matabola Local Authority.  And that processes are underway to have this council disbanded with immediate effect, and not to receive any assistance from the municipality.  Our primary reason is that the head office of Matabola Local Authority is in the same community as their offices, and this will cause public confusion. Secondly, the leadership of this council has not made any prior arrangements with the local authority after it was announced in order to be recognised again.  This is the public announcement that, anyone who associate with this council, by either being in possession of their documents or having PTO documents signed and stamped by them, shall not be approved by the local authority and that those documents shall be rendered illegal.

Corruption around the RDP houses dated 17 April 2021

It has been observed on couple occasions that there is alarming cases of corruptions around RDP houses in the province.  It is also alleged that some government officials charge applicants a certain amount before they can build the houses.  Matabola Local Authority is therefore sending a strong message without fear, favor or prejudice that anyone involved in this evil practices of milking money from the poor, will be exposed and no stone will be left unturned. We had a number of local members calling our offices about the unfairness of the RDP houses systems and through our investigations we've learned that the reported figure of the RDP houses built by the government does not correspond with the physical RDP houses erected.  Our community members were convinced to unknowingly sign that they've received their RDP houses by the corrupt officilas. WE as the local authority, are asking every community member who is aggrieved to call the offices of Matabola Local Authority regarding this RDP houses matter.

The MEC of Coghsta must under the instruction of the local authority make sure that this corrupt practices are reported to the appropriate authority. The kingdom is again reminding the public that, it is not under any contest for land with anyone, the land belongs to Matabola Kingdom. Every public member must join forces with the local authority to expose corrupt practices in our land. The Maribana community has taken a lead and reported the unfairness of the RDP system to our local radio station.

Proof of Residency dated 09 April 2021

Matabola Local Authority has informed all participating financial institutions inside Capricorn district that the only qualifying bodies to issue a Proof of Residency to anyone, is the Local Authority itself and/ the Local Municipality that the member is paying rates under.  This decision by the  Kingdom of Matabola was propelled by the number of reported fraud and financial crime cases arising as a results of proof of residencies.  The kingdom has the responsibility to combat any known crime related matters in our land with the help from relevant stakeholders.  Letters were sent to Absa bank, Capitec bank, First National bank, Nedbank, South African Post Office bank, Standard bank and lastly South African Social Security Agency (SASSA).

The Matabola Local Authority has designed a new proforma of proof of residency which has got more security aspects than the ordinary POR found anywhere else. This means that the headmen and headladies are disqualified to issue proof of residency, and any other sector excluding the two bodies described above, unless being authorised by the local authority to do so. The few descriptions which are to be displayed by the authorising body are; a letterhead and the official stamp of that sector. No handwritten proof of residency shall be allowed. Click on the button below to see the contents of the letters sent to the financial institutions.

Letter to SASSA
January Floods dated 04 Feb 2021
Our land has experienced one of the harshest disasters ever, floods and disruptive rains.  Loads of our people are dislocated and some even lost their lives.  But we know for sure that our land is one of the most habitable lands in the continent. We are calling for all residents of Capricorn and Limpopo at large to please make use of their Land Registry Office at Persie 200LS for residential lands. We do not want to see our people being dislocated because they were given land adjacent to the rivers. We at Matabola Local Authority has made studies about this land, over 150yrs ago and we know which place is habitable and which one is not.  Condolences from the Paramount King to the families that lost their loved ones due to disruptive rains and more due to the pandemic.
The New 2021 dated 07 January 2021

Let us start the year with a positive mindset towards our planned goals.  The pandemic has however migrated with us into the new year.  We would have loved it if the pandemic stayed behind with 2020, but the reality is that we have to soldier on in making our lives save.

The government dispatch budget according to the number of homes registered at the deeds office. We are submitting to all residents of Limpopo province to have their homes registered under the motherbody, the title deed holder.
The use of old names (Msg dated 03 November 2020)

Residents of Limpopo may be perplexed by the names of places used on this website, like Craddock, Wesil and etc. You will be aware that each place has got a registration number next to it, like 197LS.  The reason is that those are the original names which are registered at the offices of Matabola Local Authority. New places would not have been registered with Matabola Local Authority, however; the local authority may register such place and supply the registration number for the place to receive services.  Processes are underway to have back Matabola Local Authority as the admin chamber in the province because they are in possession of the title deed of the land.

Certifying Stamps (Msg dated 14 December 2020)

Matabola Local Authority has made a provision of certifying stamps for all Kgoshana's under Matabola Kingdom, in order to relief the communities from travelling long distances to get their documents certified.
